RESTORATION FOLLOWING MORAL FAILURE
The Navigators believe in restoring the fallen while upholding the integrity of the ministry. Restoration rarely happens when left to the individual. It is neither accidental nor automatic. It requires deliberate involvement. Our process brings together the individual, a counselor, and a Restoration Support Team that helps a person (and their family, if married) to move from sinful actions to self-awareness and repentance and, ultimately, restoration to ministry.
When moral failure is experienced, the high calling of ministry is violated. Yet when this happens, the Body is charged with the responsibility to restore to health and spirituality, bear one another’s burdens, and do good unto all men so that every man may prove his own work (Galatians 6:1-10).
